A life science association is looking for a Business Development Manager to join its commercial team in the UK. The role will involve meeting with life science companies that have already expressed an interest in joining the network and explaining the benefits of joining and effectively increasing the membership within the UK. In addition you will meet and liaise with existing members to discuss sponsorship opportunities and overall branding and market opportunities for them. Contacts will range from global pharmaceutical companies to the smallest of start up companies. You will be supported by one of the most personable and supportive managers in the life science arena and join a team consisting of an internal sales person and two project managers. The organisation is keen to to hear from those with a life science degree and some previous sales or marketing experience within the life science sector. Most important is the ability to present at all levels with confidence and clarity. You will be a brilliant relationship builder with a persuasive character.
