A great opportunity has arisen to enter the world of commerce as a Sales Representative! This world leading company provides solutions for scientists and engineers who are working in research and development as well as academia. The software has become well established as a leading technology to help scientists and engineers develop innovative products and processes and it's particularly suited to those in research and development. However it has also become a very important technology for academia, both teaching and research. Most universities across the world are already using the software but there remains huge potential to grow business further. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in an ambitious office. You will be responsible for a range of activities where the focus is developing new sales opportunities. This will include managing a leads database and following up on all leads generated by focused marketing campaigns, establishing contacts with leading academics, being aware of relevant research programmes that are being funded and where this particular software can play a role, creating marketing campaigns, arranging on-site seminars and workshops and taking ownership of ensuring that these are well attended, working with a technical support team to ensure the company's technology is properly presented and consistently seeking new opportunties.You will have at least a Masters in physics or engineering (chemical/mechanical) and some experience using mathematical models will stand you in good stead. Whilst not essential, those candidates with some experience selling complex software systems will have an advantage.
