This is a fantastic opportunity! A highly innovative manufacturer of research instruments and associated consumables has promoted an Account Manager internally and now needs to recruit their replacement. The territory focuses on Cambridge and Oxford research centres, and you will be expected to manage and develop a specific group of customers in the territory. All are existing customers and well mapped out, but have potential to grow further. The company has recently brought out a new system and will be launching further complementary products over the next year. This territory is the best performing region in Northern Europe and is ahead of plan! The successful candidate will be a life science graduate with a proven track record of sales success within the life science sector. You should have sold to large academic and not for profit research centres (molecular biology/biochemistry) and have networked with senior level people within these institutions.
