This job involves line and commercial management in which you will take charge of a rapidly expanding team that is looking to continue to change the way in which patient recruitment is managed to enhance the success of clinical trials! The role brings together an unusual mix of both commercial and clinical responsibilities, with the opportunity for you to make a real difference! Working from home in Northern England you will take charge of a key territory for the company, managing all site related activities to deliver patient recruitment targets, customer satisfaction and financial performance. The team you will manage consists of research nurses, clinical trial assistants and the feasibility group. You will motivate and manage key partner sites within your region as well as recruiting new sites to join the network. This is a facilitator role with you liaising between the sites and the internal clinical operations team to maximise the working relationship. At this level you will also form part of the senior management team within the UK, acting as a true decision maker and directly influencing business strategy. Who are we looking for? The successful candidate will have solid previous line management experience and a broad background within clinical operations in a commercial setting. Excellent knowledge of ICH GCP and clinical research is essential. This role will require you to be direct or diplomatic where appropriate and always to have an idea of the bigger picture whilst at the same time, the specific detail of any current issues relating to clinical research. Strong negotiating and influencing skills along with the ability to motivate and lead are key to success in this role.
